Tax deductions: The Newman Historical Society is registered as a 501(c) non-profit organization; donor donations may be tax deductible (donors should consult a tax preparation professional to confirm if their donations are eligible for tax relief). Donors are responsible for appraising the value of their donations.
The Newman Historical Society reserves the right to dispose of donated items at any time for any reason (lack of space, lack of interest, lack of cultural significance, etc.). When possible, donors will be contacted before item disposals on a “best effort” basis (no guarantee is implied).
